Verse of the Day: Proverbs 3:3    

Do not let kindness and truth leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. (NASB)   

Love is kind and your kindness shows compassion to the people you love. Often in relationships we slip into a comfortable state where we take each other for granted, not intentionally, but it happens and we no longer go out of our way to be kind. Yet, the Word of God continually emphasizes the importance of being kind, not just to strangers but also to those we hold dear. When we have a relationship with God, we gain insight into His profound love, which transforms us, filling us with kindness, compassion, care, and forgiveness. In light of God’s boundless kindness toward us, let us purposefully make the effort to extend that same kindness to the people we love.
