Verse of the Day: 1 John 3:18     

Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

When it comes to marriage, let’s move beyond mere words and truly demonstrate our love through meaningful actions. The Bible consistently emphasizes that love is an active commitment rather than a mere expression. Two profound instances of love in the Bible are exemplified when God offered His only Son and Jesus sacrificed His own life for us. While we can never match God’s boundless love, we can certainly strive to mirror His attributes in our relationships with our spouse. God serves as our ultimate example of compassion, forgiveness, mercy, patience, faithfulness, and more. Let’s not limit our love to spoken declarations but also demonstrate it through genuine acts of love and devotion.
