And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

“God is love” remains etched in my memory as the very first Bible verse I ever learned. I can vividly recall those childhood Sundays, stepping up to the microphone for young ones to recite scripture, proudly proclaiming those three simple yet profound words, “God is love”. Love is not just an attribute of God, it is His very essence. It is what directs His actions and interactions with humanity. Let your first thoughts of the day be “God is love” and “God loves me”. By recognizing and accepting this truth, you can live your life with gratitude, humility, and love towards others, knowing that God lives in you.
