God Isn’t Finished with You Yet

Verse of the Day: Philippians 1:6

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Have you ever felt like God is taking too long to change you? Maybe you struggle with bad habits or feel you should be further along in your spiritual growth. You might even wish God could transform you overnight. I know I’ve felt that way, we all do at times, but change doesn’t happen instantly. Life is a journey that begins when we surrender to Jesus and it unfolds step by step. Our final destination is heaven, and along the way, God is shaping us, strengthening our faith, and making us more like Christ. Just as the leaves change in the fall, everything unfolds in its appointed time. Be confident that in His perfect timing, God is changing you. He always finishes what He starts. So when you feel like you’re not progressing fast enough, trust that God is still at work in you. As long as you don’t give up, He will continue His work in you until the day Jesus returns for His church.
