Hearing from God

Verse of the Day: Romans 10:17

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

We know that God strengthens our faith and speaks to us through His Word when we’re reading the Bible, attending a sermon, or praying. But His voice is not limited to just these ways! Lift up your hands in praise, because He is a limitless, loving God who reaches us in unexpected moments and in other ways.

Maybe you’ve been struggling, and suddenly a worship song plays on the radio with just the right words to lift your spirit—that’s God speaking. Perhaps a friend sends a text with a Bible verse right when you need it—that’s God reminding you He’s near. Even the beauty of nature can declare His glory, pointing us back to Him.

So stay open, stay expectant, and surround yourself with things that reflect His presence. Worship Him with a heart that listens, because He is always speaking—whether in a sermon, a song, or the whisper of the wind. The more you seek Him, the more you’ll hear His voice, guiding you with love and grace.

“Speak to Me” by Kari Jobe is a song of worship asking God to speak through His presence, His Word, and everyday life experiences.
