Courage for Today

Verse of the Day: 1 Samuel 17:37

The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you.”

In the face of adversity, you can still have courage. Much like how the Lord delivered David from the perilous grip of the lion in the past, David held firm in his faith that God would once again rescue him from his current trial. The same is true for you too. You can trust that just as God has guided you through challenging times before, He remains steadfastly by your side now.

Instead of letting fear take over, lift up your heart in praise. Remember how God has been faithful to you in the past. He hasn’t changed, and He won’t fail you now. Take a moment to thank Him for every trial He’s already brought you through and for the victory that’s on the way. Declare, “Lord, You’ve been so good to me, and I trust You’ll be good again. I thank You in advance for the breakthrough coming my way.” Let your worship become a weapon against fear, because when you praise Him, His peace will cover you. God is working even now so keep trusting and keep praising!

I Will Fear No More by The Afters encourage believers to release their fears and trust in God’s unwavering presence and protection.
