Verse of the Day: Colossians 1:17
He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
God, in His perfect knowledge, saw our need for salvation long before the world began. Even before sin entered the picture, He had already prepared a way for us to be made right with Him, through His Son, Jesus Christ. The cross was not a last-minute plan; it was part of God’s purpose from the very beginning.
Jesus was chosen to be above all things, with everything placed under His authority. He was appointed as the head of the church and the center of God’s redemptive plan (Ephesians 1:22).
If your life feels like it’s falling apart or has lost its direction, turn your focus to Jesus. Put Him first. When Jesus takes His rightful place in your heart, everything else starts to make sense. What feels broken begins to come together, not by your own strength, but by the power of God. So worship Him, trust Him, and let His presence bring peace and purpose to every part of your life.
First by Lauren Daigle beautifully expresses the desire to seek Jesus before anything else, above every blessing, every need, and every circumstance.
