One of the best ways to grow closer to God is by spending time with Him in prayer. It’s the most personal way to experience His presence, yet so often we forget, get too busy, lose focus, or simply don’t make it a priority. But prayer is too important to push aside.

Your prayer doesn’t have to be formal or fancy. You can talk to God throughout your day with simple, honest prayers. I encourage you to also set aside a specific time each day to really sit with the Lord, to talk, listen, and just be in His presence.

Come to Him with praise and thanksgiving. Confess your sins, lay your burdens at His feet and share your heart. Pray about everything, big or small, because nothing is too hard or too little for our great God.

Praise God for always listening, always caring, and always welcoming you into His presence with open arms!
