Verse of the Day: Romans 12:21
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
It’s easy to see that the enemy is working hard spreading darkness and stirring up sin in the world. But as followers of Jesus, we are not helpless or alone. God has given us the strength to stand firm. The Bible says in James 4:7, “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” So stay awake, lean on God, and put on His armor each day.
When you face evil, don’t respond with more evil, instead choose love. Pray for those who hurt you. Keep doing what’s right, even when it’s hard. Let your light shine where things feel dark. Don’t let fear or frustration wear you down. Stay strong. Stay steady. Stand firm in the Lord.
And in all things, praise Him. Praise God not just when things are easy, but even in the middle of the battle. Praise reminds your heart who is in control. Worship lifts your eyes above the storm and fixes them on the One who never changes.
Through Jesus, you are more than a conqueror. You are an overcomer, wrapped in grace, filled with power, and held by perfect love. So keep praising. Keep trusting. And keep walking forward with courage, because God is with you.
“Overcomer” by Mandisa reminds us, through faith in Christ, we can rise above life’s challenges because He gives us strength to overcome.
