Happy Labor Day

Verse of the Day: Matthew 11:28

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

On this Labor Day, as we take time to honor the value of hard work, let’s also remember the gift of rest. All throughout the Bible, we’re encouraged to be faithful and diligent in what we do, but we’re also reminded that rest is a blessing from God. Even the Lord rested on the seventh day.

If you’re feeling tired physically, emotionally, or spiritually Jesus is calling you to come to Him. He offers more than just a break from work. He gives true rest for your body, peace for your mind, and healing for your soul. Trust in Him, lean on His promises, and let Him restore you from the inside out.

Take a moment today to thank the Lord for being our source of strength and rest. Praise Him for His faithfulness and for the peace He so freely gives.

“Come to Me” by Beth Johnson is a gentle invitation from Jesus to find rest, comfort, and peace in Him, especially for the weary and burdened.
