To Seek and To Save

Verse of the Day: Luke 19:10

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.

From the very beginning, sin created a gap between us and God. But because of His deep love for us, God made a way to bring us back to Himself. He sent His only Son, Jesus, not to condemn us, but to rescue us and to seek and to save those who were lost.

Through the cross, Jesus paid the full price for our sin. He broke the power of guilt and shame and opened the door for us to be made right with God. This gift of salvation is free, but it calls for a response. The Bible says, “Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38).

What a Savior we have. Let us worship Him with grateful hearts. Jesus came for you, for me, and for every soul that still needs to hear this Good News. As His followers, we are called to go out and share it while there is still time. Let us praise the One who saves and point others to the hope that is only found in Him.

“Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)” by Chris Tomlin celebrates God’s mercy, freedom from sin, and the life-changing power of His grace.
