Verse of the Day: Psalm 51:1-2

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

You can’t earn God’s forgiveness, it’s a gift given not because of who you are, but because of who He is. God forgives because He is full of mercy, love, and compassion. He sent His only Son, Jesus, to pay the price for your sins so that you could be set free. Come to Him with a sincere heart. Confess your need for a Savior and believe that Jesus died for you. By the power of His precious blood, your sins are washed away. Repent and let go of the guilt and shame you’ve been holding onto. God has already forgiven you and made you new. Now it’s time to forgive yourself and step forward into the life He has prepared for you, a life full of grace, purpose, and hope. Praise God for His unfailing love.
