Verse of the Day: Luke 6:35
But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
God commands us to love our enemies and do good to them. This calling often feels difficult, especially when we’ve been hurt. But when we are rooted in God’s love and mercy, we can rise above our natural reactions and reflect the heart of Christ. Our heavenly Father has poured out unimaginable love and grace on us, even when we didn’t deserve it. And now, He calls us to do the same. He calls us to show kindness and mercy even to the ungrateful and the wicked. Not because they’ve earned it, but because we desire to live in a way that honors and pleases God. Every time we choose love over hate, and mercy over judgment, we worship Him with our lives. So let your kindness be an act of praise, pointing others to the goodness of the One who first loved us.
“Love Like Jesus” Rhett Walker is a call to love with the same mercy, patience, and grace Jesus showed, even when it’s uncomfortable or undeserved.
