10 Days of Thanksgiving – Day 7: Thankful for God’s Blessings

Verse of the Day: 2 Corinthians 9:11

You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

We can be truly thankful for God’s many blessings, even in the middle of difficult times. This year may have brought moments of uncertainty, questions about how to make ends meet or what tomorrow may hold, but through it all, God has remained faithful.

Praise God for His constant care. When we cannot see a way forward, He makes one. Often, He works through the kindness and generosity of others, meeting our needs in quiet, powerful ways. For this, our hearts should overflow with gratitude.

Worship the Lord for the ways He strengthens our faith through every act of provision. Every time someone gives, helps, or prays, it’s a reminder that God is near and that we can trust Him fully.

Not only does He provide for us, but He also gives us the opportunity to be a blessing in return. As we give generously to others we reflect His heart and bring glory to His name. And when our giving leads to someone else lifting their hands in praise, that is a beautiful circle of thanksgiving.

So today, let your heart be filled with thanks for the blessings you’ve received, the people God has used, and the ways He continues to provide. In every season, God is good and He is always worthy of our praise.

“Do Something” by Matthew West is a bold call to live generously and use what God has given you to bless others.
