Verse of the Day: Psalm 3:3
But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.
It’s important to recognize that not everyone was able to spend this holiday surrounded by family and friends. The past few years have brought many challenges, and for some, the holidays can stir feelings of loneliness, sadness, grief, or longing. It’s natural to miss loved ones who have passed or are far away. Yet even in those quiet or difficult moments, we are never truly alone. Praise God for His faithful presence. He is with us in every moment of every day. When we turn our hearts toward Him, He reminds us of His goodness and grace.
Worship the Lord who draws near to the brokenhearted and comforts those who mourn. His love has no limits, and His peace goes beyond anything this world can offer.
As you reflect during this season, give thanks for the blessings you do have, even if they feel small. God sees your heart, hears your prayers, and will carry you through. Draw near to Him, and He will fill your soul with comfort, joy, and hope even in the hardest of times.
“Psalm 3 (Lifter of My Head)” by The Psalms Project is a powerful worship song that declares God as our shield, protector, and the One who lifts us up when we are weary or under attack.
