More Blessed to Give than to Receive

Verse of the Day: Acts 20:35

In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

God has poured out blessings on us far beyond what we deserve, and as His children, we are called to reflect His heart through selfless giving. In a world where people often give hoping to get something in return, we are set apart when we give freely and joyfully, expecting nothing in return but knowing that God sees and rewards what is done in love.

When we give with a sincere heart, it becomes more than an act of kindness, it becomes an act of worship. Every time we meet a need, share a meal, or offer help, we are shining the light of Christ and reminding others of His grace and goodness.

Generosity is one of the ways we live out our faith. It points people to a God who never stops giving. So let your giving be full of joy, knowing that in God’s kingdom, blessing flows through open hands and willing hearts.

“The Little Drummer Boy”” by For KING & COUNTRY symbolizes giving your best, even if it’s small, as an act of worship, highlighting the heart behind giving over the gift itself.
