
Verse of the Day: Ephesians 3:16-18
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.
Reflection:
I need to pray not only for myself but also for God’s people. Just like Paul prayed for the church in Ephesus, I need to lift up my brothers and sisters in Christ, asking God to strengthen them and help them grow in His love. Prayer isn’t just about my own needs, it’s about standing in the gap for others and asking God to fill their hearts with His Spirit. When I pray for others, it helps me focus less on myself and more on the bigger picture of God’s family. It also encourages me to remember that we’re all rooted in the same love of Christ and that His love is greater than anything we can imagine.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the gift of prayer. Help me to remember to lift up others before You, asking that they would be strengthened and encouraged in their faith. Fill us all with a deeper understanding of Your love and help us to live rooted in that love every day. Amen.
