God Will Fight for You

Verse of the Day: 1 Peter 2:23

When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.

Reflection:
When people hurt me or treat me unfairly my first instinct is often to defend myself or retaliate, but Jesus showed a better way. He showed me that I don’t need to fight back. He endured insults and pain without responding in anger, instead He trusted God to make things right. That challenges me to let go of the need to control the outcome and to allow God to fight my battles. When I put the situation in His hands, I can find peace, knowing He is faithful and just.

Prayer:
Lord, when I am hurt or treated unfairly, help me not to retaliate. Teach me to trust You to fight my battles and to rest in Your justice. Give me strength to respond with grace instead of anger, and let my life reflect the example of Jesus. Amen.

Life Reminder:
Don’t fight back, trust God to fight your battles and bring justice in His time and in His way.
