Do not let kindness and truth leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. (NASB)

Reflection

There are days when it’s easy to be kind and others when it takes more effort. But God’s Word reminds me not to let kindness and truth leave my heart. Even when I don’t feel like it, choosing kindness reflects the heart of Christ. It’s not about pretending everything is perfect, it’s about letting His love guide my actions, even in small, quiet ways.

I admit it, sometimes, I take the people closest to me for granted, forgetting that they need gentleness and grace. When I stop and remember how patient and kind God has been with me, it softens my heart. His kindness changes me and fills me with compassion, forgiveness, and kindness. Every act of kindness, no matter how simple becomes an act of worship that honors Him.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for showing me endless kindness and mercy. Help me to be kind even when it’s difficult and to respond with love when I feel impatient or frustrated. Fill my heart with Your compassion and remind me to see others the way You see them. Let my actions reflect Your goodness and bring glory to Your name. Amen.

Life Reminder

Kindness is a choice, make it daily. Even when it’s hard, choose to love like Jesus.
