Verse of the Day: Colossians 3:13
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Reflection
I’m far from perfect and I fall short more often than I’d like to admit. I’ve needed God’s forgiveness time and time again and thankfully, He’s never held it back. Remembering that helps me extend the same grace to others. We all make mistakes, say the wrong things, or hurt one another, sometimes without meaning to. But it’s how we respond that defines the strength of our relationships.
Forgiveness isn’t always easy, but it’s freeing. When I choose to forgive, I let go of the bitterness that weighs down my heart and make room for peace and healing. God’s love teaches me that forgiving others is not about excusing their actions, it’s about honoring Him and reflecting His mercy. Just as He has forgiven me, I’m called to forgive others with that same love.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for Your endless grace and mercy. You have forgiven me more times than I can count, and I’m so grateful. Help me to forgive others as freely as You have forgiven me. When my heart feels heavy or hurt, soften it with Your love. Teach me to walk in grace, let go of resentment, and choose peace. Amen.
Life Reminder
You’ve been forgiven much so choose to forgive freely. Let grace, not grudges, guide your heart.
