Verse of the Day: Psalm 61:2

From the end of the earth will I cry to thee, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Reflection

There are days when my heart feels heavy and my spirit feels drained. There are days when life’s challenges seem too big to carry. But even in those times, I can cry out to God, knowing He hears me. No matter how far I feel or how hard life becomes, He is never far away. He is my refuge, my steady rock, and my source of strength when everything around me feels uncertain.

When my heart is overwhelmed, I don’t have to face it alone. God invites me to run to Him and lay down my fears, my tears, and my worries at His feet. His love is greater than any storm, His love deeper than any pain, and His presence higher than any problem I face. When I worship through the storm, I remember that He is in control, and that brings me peace.

Prayer

Lord, when my heart feels overwhelmed, lead me back to You, the rock that is higher than I. Help me to find peace in Your presence and strength in Your promises. Remind me that You are always near, ready to lift me up when I call on Your name. I place my burdens in Your hands and trust that You are working all things for my good. Amen.
