Verse of the Day: Psalm 130:5

I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.

Reflection

Waiting on God isn’t always easy. There are moments when I want answers right away or wish I could see how everything will turn out. But God’s Word reminds me to wait with hope. Not in frustration, but in faith. I’ve learned that waiting doesn’t mean doing nothing, it means trusting that God is working behind the scenes, even when I can’t see it.

When I put my hope in His promises, my heart finds peace. God’s timing is never late and His plans are always good. As I wait, I want to do more than simply pass time, I want to praise Him in the waiting, to stand firm in faith, and to keep my focus on His goodness. Because in every season, He’s preparing something beautiful in His perfect time.

Prayer

Lord, teach me to wait with patience and faith. Help me to trust Your timing, even when I don’t understand what You’re doing. Fill my heart with peace as I place my hope in Your Word. Remind me that You are faithful and that Your plans for me are good. While I wait, help me to praise You with a thankful heart. Amen.
