Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Reflection

Planting seeds in the hearts of little ones helps shape them for the rest of their lives. Teaching children about God’s love is one of the greatest things we can do for them. When we pour His truth into young hearts, we are helping build a strong foundation that will guide them as they grow. It is a privilege to remind them that they are deeply loved, chosen, and known by their Creator. Every prayer, every lesson, and every example plants a seed that God can grow in His perfect time. I know that the seeds that were planted in me by my parents and Sunday school when I was young, stayed in my heart. Even though I walked away from the Lord, the truth never left me and eventually brought me back to God.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for trusting us with the hearts of children. Give us wisdom, patience, and courage as we teach them Your ways. Help us to lead by example, to speak Your truth with love, and to shine Your light so brightly that the next generation will grow up knowing and loving You. Amen.
