Verse of the Day: Acts 20:35
In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’
Reflection
I once read an article about how acts of kindness can lift our mood. Later, I came across Acts 20:35 and suddenly it all made sense. The joy we feel when we serve others isn’t accidental, it’s how God designed us. When we give our time, our resources, or a simple word of encouragement, we’re reflecting His love to the world. Helping others isn’t just something we do, it’s part of God’s purpose for our lives, and it brings a deep sense of fulfillment that nothing else can replace.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for creating me with a heart to serve. Open my eyes to the needs around me and give me the willingness to help however I can. Let my actions reflect Your love, and use my life to bring encouragement, hope, and joy to others. Amen.
Life Reminder
Serving others is one of the ways God fills our hearts with purpose, joy, and fulfillment.
