So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

Reflection

I need to do what the Spirit guides me to do, not what I feel like doing. Feelings can be strong, but they aren’t always reliable. When temptation comes, I’ve learned that relying on my own strength only goes so far. True victory comes when I lean on God’s strength instead of my emotions. He gives me power that doesn’t run dry and guidance that never leads me astray. When I listen to the Holy Spirit and walk in obedience, I’m reminded that I’m not fighting alone because God is with me.

Prayer

Lord, help me to be led by Your Spirit and not by my emotions or impulses. Give me the strength to obey You even when it’s difficult and the wisdom to recognize Your voice above all others. Fill me with Your peace and power so I can walk in victory each day. Amen.
