Honoring All Who Have Served

Verse of the Day: Galatians 5:13

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

To all Veterans who have served our great nation in the United States Armed Forces, we thank you for your service, honor your selflessness, and respect the sacrifices you have made for our freedom. May God bless you always.

We are blessed to live in one of the greatest countries in the world, where we enjoy civil liberties and fundamental rights that many others do not. One of these precious freedoms is the freedom of religion, the right to worship freely, both in private and public, protected by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Our military continues to defend this freedom, but there is someone else who gave His life for our ultimate freedom, Jesus! Jesus set us free from the bondage of sin, accomplishing what the law could not. By the grace of God, you are no longer a slave to sin. Now that you have been set free, it is up to you to use that freedom wisely. Instead of using it to indulge the flesh, use it to humbly serve one another in love.
