Honoring Our Veterans

Verse of the Day: Galatians 5:13

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

To all the Veterans who have faithfully and humbly served our great nation in the United States Armed Forces, we thank you. We honor your courage, respect your sacrifice, and deeply appreciate the selflessness with which you defended our freedom. May God bless you and your families always.

We are truly blessed to live in one of the greatest countries in the world, where we enjoy freedoms that many around the world can only dream of. Among these blessings is the freedom of religion, the right to worship God freely, both publicly and privately, protected by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Our military continues to defend this vital freedom, and for that, we are grateful.

Yet there is One who gave His life to offer us an even greater freedom, His name is Jesus. Through His death and resurrection, He set us free from the bondage of sin, doing what the law alone could never do. By the grace of God, you are no longer a slave to sin, you are free.

So, let us worship and thank our Savior for this incredible gift. Now that you have been set free, use that freedom not for selfish desires, but to humbly serve one another in love. This is true freedom, living a life that honors God.

“Freedom Hymn” by Austin French is a song celebrating freedom, both spiritual and the sacrifices made for earthly freedom.
