Verse of the Day: Isaiah 26:3

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.

Reflection

When my thoughts start to turn negative, I remind myself that God is in control. I don’t have to carry everything or figure it all out on my own. When I place my trust in Him, He replaces my worry with peace. God is the source of true and lasting peace that doesn’t disappear when life gets hard. As I surrender my need to be in control and trust His will, my heart is steadied and my mind is calmed. Even in the middle of the storm, He walks with me and fills me with His peace.

Prayer

Lord, help me to trust You when my thoughts begin to spiral. I surrender control to You and thank You for the peace You give so freely. Amen.
