Verse of the Day: James 1:22

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Reflection

Applying the Word of God to my life isn’t always easy, but it is always the right thing to do. Simply hearing God’s Word without putting it into practice doesn’t bring real change or growth. God’s truth has the power to transform my life, but that transformation happens when I choose to live it out daily, not just hear it on Sundays. Being a doer of the Word means I receive it with understanding, accept it with faith, and take action with obedience.

Prayer

Lord, give me the strength and discipline to live out Your Word, even when it’s hard. Help me to move beyond hearing and into obedience. May my life reflect my love for You through faithful action. Amen.
