But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’”

Reflection

Honestly, there have been times I’ve asked God, “Why am I like this?”. But the truth is, everything God creates is good, even though sin in the world has affected us all. I’m not perfect, and on this side of heaven I never will be, but I am someone who is learning, growing, and striving to become the person God created me to be. He made me with intention, care, and purpose, giving me unique gifts, experiences, and a story that belongs only to me. Instead of comparing myself to others, I choose to accept who I am and be the best me I can be. I trust that God is still at work in me, helping me to grow and bloom in His time and in His way.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for creating me with purpose and love. Help me to see myself the way You see me and to grow into the person You’re shaping me to be. Teach me to walk in confidence, grace, and gratitude for the way You made me. Amen.
