He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.

Reflection

I thank God for His mercy every day. I know I deserved to be lost, yet He chose to find me and save me instead. Mercy means compassion when judgment is deserved, and that truth has shaped my life in a powerful way. Because of sin, none of us could rescue ourselves, but God chose forgiveness over punishment. His mercy met me where I was, wiped away my past, and gave me a new beginning I could never earn on my own.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for Your mercy that found me when I was lost. Help me to never take Your forgiveness for granted. Teach me to live each day with humility and gratitude. Amen.
