Verse of the Day: Deuteronomy 1:6
The Lord our God said to us at Horeb, “You have stayed long enough at this mountain.”
Reflection
If I ever write a book about my life, I think the title would be The 35 Year Detour. For many years, I walked a path that led me away from God. Like the Israelites wandering in the desert, I spent a long time going in circles, stuck, uncertain, and searching for direction. But that detour wasn’t the end of my story. When I finally surrendered and chose to trust God fully, everything began to change. He didn’t discard the years I felt were wasted, instead, He used them to shape me, teach me, and guide me back to the path He had planned all along. What once felt like delay became the preparation for my purpose.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for meeting me even in my detours. Help me trust You fully as I move forward into what You’ve prepared for me. Give me courage to follow Your direction without hesitation. Amen.
Life Reminder
No detour is too long for God to lead you back to the right path.
