My Words

Verse of the Day: Psalm 19:14

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Reflection

The wods I say matter more than I sometimes realize. What I say and even what I keep replaying in my mind reveals what’s really going on inside me. If my heart isn’t at peace, it slips out in my tone. I don’t want my words to be careless or hurtful. I want them to be encouraging, honest, and life-giving.

It’s easy to speak quickly, especially when frustration or stress creeps in. But I’ve learned the power of pausing. When I slow down and pay attention to what’s happening in my heart before I respond, everything changes. When I fill my mind with truth and keep my focus on what’s good, my tone softens and my responses become more thoughtful.

Keeping my eyes on the Lord as my Rock and Redeemer centers me. When my heart is anchored in Him, my conversations reflect it. Even my private thoughts start to line up differently and that brings clarity and peace.

Prayer

Father, thank You for being my steady foundation. Help me guard both my thoughts and my words so they honor You. Shape my heart so what flows from my mouth brings encouragement and peace. Amen

Life Reminder

When you align your heart with God, your words will begin to reflect His truth.
