Know Your Worth

Verse of the Day: Proverbs 31:10

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

Reflection

When I was out in the world doing my own thing, there were plenty of times when I questioned my worth. Not out loud, but in my thoughts. Times when I didn’t feel like I measured up. Times when I focused too much on how I looked, what I accomplished, or how I compared to someone else.

But since I turned back to the Lord, I’ve learned that my value isn’t set by the world. It’s not based on appearance, status, or success. It goes much deeper than that.

When I read about a woman whose worth is far above rubies, I don’t see perfection, I see character. Faithfulness. Strength. Kindness. Integrity. Those are the things that truly matter. Those are the things God sees.

I remind myself often that I was created by God and He doesn’t make mistakes. My value was built in from the very beginning. I don’t have to earn it. I don’t have to compete for it. And when I look at the cross, I see just how far Jesus was willing to go for me. That answers the question of my worth.

So when the world tries to define me by surface things, I come back to truth. I belong to God. I am loved. I am chosen. I am valued and not because of what I do, but because of whose I am. My worth isn’t up for debate. It’s already been decided by the Most High God.

Prayer

Father God, thank You for creating me with purpose and value. Thank You for loving me deeply and consistently. Help me to see myself the way You see me. Guard my heart from comparison and insecurity, and remind me daily that my worth is rooted in belonging to You. Amen

Life Reminder

When you remember that you belong to God, you stop questioning your worth and start walking in confidence.
