Verse of the Day: Luke 22:41-42
He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”
Reflection
When I face situations that feel heavy or uncertain, I realize how much I want things to go my way. I even catch myself trying to control the outcome or hoping the hard part will just disappear. But the most honest prayers often happen when I step away from the noise and talk to God quietly. I can admit when something scares me, when I don’t understand what’s happening, or when I wish things were different.
At the same time, I know that trusting God means being willing to place my plans in His hands. That doesn’t mean I ignore my feelings. It means I bring them to Him and then choose to trust that His way is better than anything I could plan myself. Surrendering my will to God isn’t always easy, but it’s where I find the strength to trust Him with whatever comes next.
Prayer
God, Thank you for hearing me when I come to You with my worries and questions. Help me trust Your will even when things feel uncertain. Give me the courage to place my plans in Your hands and follow where You lead. Amen.
Life Reminder
When life feels uncertain, remember that trusting God’s will brings peace and direction for the path ahead.
