Verse of the Day: Lamentations 2:19

Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord.

Reflection

When I pour out my heart to God, I tell Him exactly how I feel. I don’t hold back because He already knows what’s in my heart. I know I can bring Him the good and the bad. It’s okay if I bring Him my pain, my frustration, and my confusion because I know that He welcomes it all. God isn’t distant, He’s a loving Father who listens, cares, and meets me with grace and mercy. Being honest with Him draws me closer and reminds me that His love for me is unconditional in every season of life.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for being a safe place where I can come just as I am. Help me to always be honest with You and to trust Your love and care over my life. Amen.
