Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.

Reflection

Even after doing my best, there are times when things don’t turn out the way I hoped they would. In those moments, I give it all to God. I place my hopes in His hands and let go. I may not understand why things happen the way they do, but I trust that God is in control, even when life feels out of control. As I wait on His promises, He gives me rest and peace in the middle of it all. God doesn’t leave me to figure things out alone. He meets me with comfort, brings peace to my heart, and strengthens me while I wait.

Prayer

Lord, I place my hopes, plans, and even my disappointments into Your hands. Help me to trust You fully, wait patiently, and rest in the peace You give. Amen.
