Verse of the Day: Proverbs 31:31
Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
Reflection
I lost my mother 25 years ago, and I’ll be honest, I wasn’t always the best daughter. Our relationship was difficult, but with time and growth, I now see so many moments I wish I could relive differently. Loss has a way of teaching us what we didn’t fully understand while someone was still with us. Mothers give so much of themselves, often quietly and without recognition, loving through sacrifice, patience, and faith. Today, I carry both gratitude and regret, but also grace, and I thank God for my mother and for the lessons that continue to shape my heart.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the gift of mothers and for the love they pour into their families. Heal the places in our hearts where regret or loss still lingers and teach us to love more fully. Bless every mother today with Your peace, strength, and grace. Amen.
Life Reminder
Honor your mother, love her well, speak gratitude often, and cherish the time you’ve been given together.
