Don’t Worry

Verse of the Day: Matthew 6:27

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

Reflection

I’ve learned to recognize when worry starts to take over and that’s my cue to pause and refocus my heart on God. Worry doesn’t solve problems or bring peace, it only drains my strength. That doesn’t mean ignoring responsibilities or pretending life isn’t hard. It means making decisions with wisdom and without letting fear control me. When I stop my mind from spiraling and start worshiping, my heart settles, trust replaces anxiety, and I’m reminded that I don’t have to carry everything on my own. After I give it all to God, I can let go and let God.

Prayer

Lord, help me recognize when worry begins to steal my peace. Teach me to pause, trust You, and release what I cannot control. Fill my heart with calm and peace as I worship You. Amen.

Life Reminder

When worry rises, pause and place it in God’s hands.
