Reflection

Including Scripture in my prayer time brings focus and direction to my conversations with God. When I read slowly and with intention, the words begin to speak personally into my life and circumstances. Asking for understanding helps me stay open to correction, growth, and encouragement I might otherwise miss. As I reflect on what I read, my prayers become more meaningful, shaped by truth rather than emotion alone. Making space for Scripture during prayer helps me grow, learn, and stay grounded.

Prayer

Lord, Help me approach Your Word with an open and teachable heart. Give me understanding as I read and apply what I learn to my life. Guide my thoughts and prayers through truth and wisdom. Amen
