You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

Reflection

When I chose to follow Jesus, I didn’t just receive direction for myself; I became someone who reflects His light. That means my faith isn’t meant to stay private, quiet, or hidden in safe spaces. lt’s meant to be shared.

Light doesn’t try hard to be noticed, it simply shines. I’ve realized that this shows up in my everyday choices. In how I respond when I’m irritated. In how I treat people when it would be easier to withdraw. In the tone I use, the patience I show, the integrity I keep. A city on a hill can’t be hidden, and neither can a life that consistently reflects Him.

I don’t need a platform or applause to shine. I just need to live aligned with God’s will. When I choose love, when I stay steady, when I act with intention, that light becomes visible. And even if I never see the impact, it matters. I’m not meant to dim what God has placed in me, I’m meant to live in a way that naturally shines for the world to see.

Prayer

Thank You, God, for calling me to reflect Your light. Thank You for trusting me to live in a way that points others toward truth and hope. Help me stay consistent, intentional, and unafraid to shine in my everyday life. Amen
