Reflection

Letting my light shine isn’t just a sweet phrase, it’s a daily decision I make on purpose. If I say I love God, then that love has to show up in real ways. It can’t just stay in my heart or in my quiet time. It has to move through my hands, my words, and my decisions.

When I look around, I see people who are tired, discouraged, and just trying to make it through the day. I see needs in my own community. And I know that when I choose to help, serve, encourage, or even just listen, my faith becomes visible. It’s about being willing to act. Small acts of kindness can remind someone they’re not alone and that God loves them.

Letting my light shine is choosing compassion when it would be easier to stay comfortable. It’s stepping in instead of stepping back. When I let my light shine through action, people don’t just hear what I believe, they see it, and that brings glory to my Father in heaven. That’s the kind of life I want to live.

Prayer

Father, thank You for placing Your light inside of me. Help me live it out in practical ways that reflect Your heart. Give me courage to serve, love, and move when You prompt me. Amen
