Living for Jesus

Verse of the Day: Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Reflection

Living for Jesus keeps me aware of where my life would have gone without grace. I know I didn’t earn this fresh start. If I’m honest, left on my own, I would drift toward things that look appealing but don’t truly satisfy. But I’ve been given a gift I could earn, a new direction and a better life through Him, and that changes everything for me.

Because of that gift, I don’t want to live casually or aimlessly. I want to live with intention. The road isn’t always easy and sometimes it challenges me in ways I didn’t expect. But even when it feels hard, there’s a steady peace in knowing I’m walking toward something meaningful.

So I choose to love Him with my whole life, not perfectly, but sincerely. Living for Jesus isn’t about striving harder; it’s about surrendering daily. It’s letting gratitude guide my words, my decisions, and how I treat people. When I think about the gift I’ve been given, my life naturally becomes a response of love and purpose.

Prayer

Father, thank You for the gift of the life I could never have earn on my own. Help me live each day with gratitude for the grace You’ve given me. Teach me to surrender my plans and walk in the direction You’ve set before me. Amen

Life Reminder

When you truly understand the gift God has given you, living for Jesus becomes a grateful choice, not a burden.
