Verse of the Day: Isaiah 60:1
Arise and shine for your light has come and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
Reflection
There have been times when life felt darker than I expected. Heavy days. Quiet battles. Moments where I just wanted to pull back and not deal with anything. But I know that even when it feels dark around me, God’s light hasn’t gone anywhere.
Sometimes it feels like I have to force myself to get out of bed on purpose. Not because I feel strong. Not because everything is fixed. But because I know I’m not meant to stay down. When I turn my thoughts to God, something inside me shifts. I start thinking clearer. I feel a little braver. I remember that my life still has purpose.
Rising for me doesn’t mean I have it all together. It just means I choose hope instead of giving up. I choose to show kindness when I could be bitter. I choose to move forward even if I’m moving slow. I don’t shine because I’m perfect. I shine because His light is already in me. If you’re in a dark season right now, just know that you’re not meant to stay there. You were made to rise and shine.
Prayer
God, thank You for being my light when I can’t see clearly. Thank You for staying close even on the hard days. Help me to get back up when I feel low. Give me courage to live with purpose and to reflect Your light in simple, everyday ways. Strengthen my heart so I don’t lose courage. Amen.
Life Reminder
Even on your hardest days, you can rise up. God’s light in you is stronger than any darkness around you.
