Helping God’s People

Verse of the Day: Hebrews 6:10

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

Reflection

There have been days when I’ve served quietly and wondered if it even mattered. The behind-the-scenes work. The encouragement texts. The showing up when I’m tired. Sometimes no one claps. No one notices. And if I’m honest, there have been moments when I’ve thought, Does this really make a difference? But today’s verse reminds me that God sees it all.

He sees the small acts. He sees the love behind the service. He sees the times I help someone and expect nothing back. And that means more to me than any recognition ever could.

When I help people, especially believers, whether it’s praying with someone, supporting a ministry, or simply being present I’m not just doing a good deed. I’m showing my love for God through action. My faith isn’t just words, it’s lived out in how I show up for His people.

And here’s what encourages me the most, nothing done in love is wasted. Even if it feels unnoticed. Even if it feels ordinary. God remembers. That truth helps me keep going when I feel tired or unseen. So I remind myself to just keep serving. Keep loving. Keep showing up. It matters more than I can see.

Prayer

Father God, thank You for seeing every act of love, even the ones no one else notices. Thank You for giving me the opportunity to serve Your people. Help me to serve with a sincere heart and not grow weary in doing good. Strengthen me when I feel tired and remind me that nothing done for You is ever wasted. Amen.

Life Reminder

Even when no one else sees it, God does, so keep loving and serving, because your faith in action truly matters.
