Verse of the Day: Psalm 119:105
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Reflection
There have been times when I was unsure about what to do next. Decisions felt hard, it was like walking in the dark, hoping I didn’t trip over something I couldn’t see. That’s when I learned how much I need God’s Word.
The Bible isn’t just something I read to check a box. It’s direction. When I slow down and actually take in what I’m reading, it speaks into my real life, my attitude, my choices, and my relationships. Sometimes it corrects me. Sometimes it comforts me. Sometimes it challenges me. But it always helps me.
I’ve noticed that when I stay in Scripture consistently, I feel more stable. I don’t get stressed out and I don’t react over emotionally because I have something solid to stand on. God’s Word helps me see clearly in a world that feels confusing. It keeps me grounded when opinions are loud and truth feels distorted. The more I apply it, the more confident I become in the path I’m walking.
I may not always know what’s ahead, but I know the One who does, and that gives me peace.
Prayer
Father God, thank You for giving me Your Word to guide my life. Thank You for the wisdom and understanding it brings. Help me to stay consistent in reading and applying Your Word to my life. Open my eyes to understand it, and give me courage to live it out every day. Amen.
Life Reminder
Keep God’s Word close, even a small daily dose of truth can light your next step.
