The unfolding of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.

Reflection

When I open my Bible with a real desire to understand, it’s different. I’m not just reading words on a page. I’m asking God to help me see what I’ve been missing and little by little, things start to make sense.

There have been times when I felt confused or unsure about what to do next. But as I sit with Scripture and actually take it in, clarity comes. Not always all at once, but enough for the next step. It’s like light slowly filling a dark room. I may not know everything, but I know more than I did before.

I don’t have to be a expert or have all the answers. I just have to be willing. When I come with a humble heart and a hunger to grow, God meets me there. His Word settles my thoughts, strengthens my understanding, and reminds me I’m not walking alone.

The more I open it, the more I see that His Word really does bring light.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for speaking to me through Your Word. Open my eyes to understand what You want to show me and help me grow in wisdom each day. Let Your truth guide my thoughts and bring revelation to my heart. Amen
