Knowing and Trusting God

Verse of the Day: Psalm 9:10

And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.

Reflection

I can’t truly trust someone I don’t really know. The same is true with God. If I want my trust in Him to be real, I have to actually spend time with Him.

When I pray honestly and read His Word with an open heart, I start to see who He really is. Not just what I’ve heard about Him, but how He shows up in my life. I see His wisdom guiding me. I notice His faithfulness in moments I could’ve missed. I recognize how He carries me through things I couldn’t handle on my own.

The more I seek Him, the more personal it becomes. Trust stops being just a church word and becomes something lived out. I know He doesn’t walk away from me. I know He stays. Even when I don’t feel strong, even when I’m unsure, He remains steady.

As I keep seeking Him, my trust grows deeper. And that kind of trust gives me confidence because I know I’m never alone.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for being faithful and present in my life. Help me to keep seeking You with my whole heart and grow in my trust each day. Show me more of who You are as I draw closer to You. Amen

Life Reminder

When you truly seek God, you’ll discover He is faithful and you can trust Him completely.
