Wait For It

Verse of the Day: Habakkuk 2:3

For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end; it will not lie, if it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

Reflection

Waiting is hard for me. When I pray about something, I want movement. I want answers. I want to see progress. But just because I don’t see it yet doesn’t mean God isn’t working.

There are things I’ve asked for that didn’t happen right away and I’ve felt impatient. I’ve wondered why it’s taking so long. But this verse reminds me that delay doesn’t mean denial. If God gave the vision, if He made the promise, it will happen in His timing, not mine.

I can’t rush Him. I can’t force doors open. What I can do is stay faithful while I wait. I keep praying. I keep trusting. I keep showing up. Waiting isn’t time wasted, it’s learning to lean on Him.

God is never late. He doesn’t forget. And when the time is right, what He promised will come together exactly the way it’s supposed to.

Prayer

Lord, thank You that Your timing is perfect. Help me be patient while I wait and trust You even when I don’t see immediate answers. Strengthen my faith, keep my heart steady, and help me get prepared in the waiting. Amen

Life Reminder

When you trust God’s timing, you can wait with confidence knowing He always keeps His promises.
