Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

Reflection

Gratitude shouldn’t depend on how my day is going. The Bible doesn’t say to give thanks when everything feels good today. It says to give thanks because He is good all the time.

Some days are easy to be thankful. Other days? Not so much. But if I woke up this morning, that’s already a reason. If I made it through something I didn’t think I would, that’s another one. There are blessings I see, and there are blessings I probably don’t even realize, things God protected me from that I’ll never know about.

When I focus only on what’s wrong, my heart feels heavy. But when I choose gratitude, even in small ways, my perspective changes. I remember that God is still working, still loving, still faithful even when life feels uncertain.

Giving thanks grounds me. It reminds me that no matter what I’m facing, there is always something to be grateful for because God’s goodness never changes.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for Your constant goodness in my life. Thank You for the blessings I see and the ones I don’t. Help me keep a grateful heart no matter what season I’m in. Amen
